The tour to the Sacred
Valley proper begins at 9 am, and may be done only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Sundays as only in these days there is the Indian Market in Pisac (on
Sunday there is also a Mass in Quechua dialect and a re-enactment of an
ancient Inca ceremony).
In lieu of the above,
and in order to better organize your international flight tickets,
for everything to go smoothly in your travel schedule, please
observe the
following sequence of dates:
Day 1:
Arrival in Lima from your International
Flight -
on
Sundays, Tuesdays, or Fridays
Day 2:
Cusco, Sacsayhuaman, Puca Pucara, Qenko, Tambomachay

on
Mondays,
Wednesdays,
or
Saturdays
Day
3:
Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero -

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
Day
4:
Machu Picchu

Wednesdays,
Fridays and Mondays
Day
5:
Cusco, Lima
- on
Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays
Day
6:
Lima,
Pachacamac, Lima (International flight back home) - on
Fridays, Sundays
and Wednesdays
Day 6 may be either your
last day in Lima and you take the international flight back home in the
evening/night - or else - you may wish to stay overnight in Lima and
book the international flight back home for the morning of Day 7:
