How to Book:

*(1)* Forward the: Online Booking Form

Complete and forward us our Online Booking Form, inputting your exact arrival details in Iquitos, including arrival date/day and time, airline and flight number.

*(2)* Fill-in and Post the: Agreement Form

Fill-in online, then print - using the print button at the end of the form - date and sign our Agreement Form and POST it (via snail mail or courier) to our UK address (as indicated on the form), alongside a photocopy of your passport (only the page with your details on). Please do not send the Agreement by fax or by email attachment. Please select a ''signature on delivery'' and/or express service, whenever possible and available.

*(3)* Send off the: Payment

All Pacaya Samiria expedition dates are tailor-made, according to individual choices (subject to availability). Given the very nature of adventure, we reserve the right to make changes on the itinerary, depending on environmental conditions, water levels and other causes of Force Majore. Each expedition itinerary constitutes therefore a guideline to intentions, rather than a rigid contractual obligation. Participants are required to sign our standard Agreement and liability waiver, in order to have their place confirmed for the Pacaya Samiria expedition.

***** IMPORTANT *****

A) We recommend to arrive in Iquitos at least a day before the expedition begins, to cover for the eventuality of airline delays, for which we cannot be held responsible. We cannot accept liability for any losses arising from airline cancellations or delays, or other causes of Force Majore beyond our control, before, during and after the expedition.

B) You must ensure to have all recommended vaccinations for travelling to this area of the Amazon and must contract a suitable medical and travel insurance policy, which would offer cover for at least £ 2,000,000 GBP (or equivalent in local currency) for emergency evacuation.

C) In order to process your official entry permit to the Pacaya Samiria Reserve, and to make the appropriate reservations for your journey, each participant is required to provide in writing the following details, at least 3 weeks before intended departure date:

1) - Full name and nationality, as on passport

2) - Passport number and country of issue

3) - Full address and email

4) - Date and place of birth

5) - Contact telephone number

6) - Contact in case of emergency

7) - Scheduled arrival times in Iquitos, specifying flight company name and flight number

8) - Return flight details from Iquitos, specifying flight company name and flight number

9) - Name, address, and telephone number of Hotel in Iquitos.

D) Should you wish your journey to be organized by us ''off Lima'' (Peru), on your first arrival there from the international flight, we may place on your behalf all necessary reservations of Hotels, transfers, and internal flights, at an extra cost of £ 500 GBP.

Terms and Conditions:

Minimum Number

For all expeditions to Pacaya Samiria there is a minimum number of two participants.

Included

All prices are intended from the jungle town of Iquitos (Peru) and - unless otherwise specified - they include:

Transfers from/to Iquitos international airport, and/or from/to your Hotel in Iquitos; fully escorted expedition with bilingual jungle guide (Spanish-English); entry permit to Pacaya Samiria National Reserve; all land and river transportation (on motorboat and - whenever indicated - on speedboat) to, from and inside Pacaya Samiria National Reserve; food (vegetarian meals available) and treated water during the expedition; antiophidic serum (carried by the guides); tents (for camping in the wilderness).

Excluded

Hotel in Lima and Iquitos, transfers in Lima, international and domestic airfare (including excess luggage fees), airport taxes, travel and medical insurance, soft drinks, tips, regalia. Any other thing not expressly specified in the programme.

Payment

Payment must be received in GBP. If paying by international wire transfer, please note that all bank fees for the transaction - including UK bank fees - must be paid in full at the origin by you, in the country where the payment is made. Currently UK bank fees are £ 7 GBP.

We also accept payment with credit card, via PayPal to our registered email address "info@elmundomagico.org". Please note that all international credit card transactions via PayPal attract a PayPal handling fee of 3.9% + 0.20 GBP of the total amount to be sent, which must be added to the relevant net amount towards expedition fees. You need to be registered and have a confirmed address with PayPal, to use this service. Please enquire for details.

Payment Deadline, Cancellations & Refunds

Full payment must be received and cleared at least 21 days before the intended date of travel, subject to availability. Fees are non-refundable, although a trip may be re-scheduled at a later time, at our sole discretion, subject to availability and to the payment of a cancellation/re-scheduling fee of £ 240 GBP.
