Jungle Trips in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru

All our jungle trips in the Upper Amazon Rainforest of Peru are escorted by excellent guides and offer outstanding value for money, with the chance to experience different, combined programmes offering a wide-range focus on different aspects of life in the rainforest. Day and night jungle excursions, caiman watching, giant trees, medicinal plants trails, bird-watching, canoeing, fishing, and visits to indigenous communities all comes as a standard in nearly all trips.

The main Ecological Reserve is set in 112 hectares of private, protected pristine rainforest, 35 km upstream from Iquitos, off the banks of the Amazon river, whilst the Adventure Camp is located about 85 km upstream from the capital of the Peruvian Amazon, in the Yanamono island. Both Reserves provide excellent opportunities for spotting wildlife and having an authentic rainforest experience. Night illumination is provided by kerosene lamps.
