"El Mundo Magico means 'the Magical World' and refers to the long forgotten attitude of seeing the world for what it intrinsically is: magic, mysterious, unphantomable. El Mundo Magico is a unique project that organizes transformative, experiential journeys and retreats in the Amazon Rainforest, in the Andes and the Northern Coast of Peru. People may "diet" with and learn from plant teachers and learn about the spiritual traditions of the forest with indigenous and mestizo (e.g. non-tribal) master shamans. Healing – on a spiritual, emotional and physical plane – may be experienced in a variety of environments, from the rainforest - where people may partake to intense ayahuasca ceremonies and practice the traditional teacher plants "diet" in the native Shipibo centre of Onanyan Shobo, where there is the possibility of meeting indigenous master shamans of different ethnic groups, or in the beautiful Sachamama Ethnobotanical Garden. Thirst for knowledge is quenched visiting in pilgrimage the sacred power places of pre-Columbian Peru, on the footstep of the ancient civilizations that came to life in South America, already from 1,300 BCE, like Chavin, Tihuanaco, Chachapoyas, Chimú, Lambayeque, Moche and all the way up to the Inkas. Maestro don Pedro Leon, our guide, combines the visionary and healing nature of Ayahuasca with the sacred Huachuma (San Pedro cactus). The expeditions to the Q'eros Indians, heirs of a wisdom and a spiritual tradition that goes back to the Inkas, complete this picture. As such, El Mundo Magico work as an axis between the Western world and forms of knowledge long lost to Westerners, but still living traditions in Peru."
