<< This man is about the most beautiful entity I have ever met in my life. I had never seen anything like this man. He is my saviour, my redemptor, and my hero. And my dear, dear friend for life. He is a powerful, super humble servant of the Ayahuasca who cures lovingly and vehemently with the force of love. And so patient. And very cool, I must add. I heard over 30 different Icaros in the 8 ceremonies we did while being there. I knew I was taken care of and I knew there were people around me that I could reach out to at anytime. My Onanyan [shaman] made sure to remind me (not quite with words, but with the way he worked: so intently and professionally in his magical field) that the reason I had ever come to this point in my life where I had ended up in the Amazon jungle of Peru, was to heal. I wondered if that was possible and to what extent. To what extent was I ill, to what extent was I able to take this truth. All I had to do, was focus. That's what Don Walter said: focus and rest. And so I did. I placed my faith in him and in the medicine and day by day my faith grew stronger. I have so many stories of this trip that I filled up two thick journals. To you I must tell the most important thing that came out of it: I have healed. Utterly, completely, beautifully. The thing that laid its heaviest weight on me since I was a small child, has vanished from my body and my psyche. I have received back all the precious life that had been leaking out of me, and I have been repaired. It is a daily task now to remember I have nothing to fear from my lonely, gloomy past. But it is the most awesome, inspiring task I could have ever hoped for. It's like loving my job: like loving to live.

It is a crime that medicine like this is hidden from us. I would encourage everybody to try and make this experience possible, especially if they are living with emotional pain. You will find so many wonderful things about yourself that you had been made to forget.
